Psychic Ability

What is Psychic Ability and is it real? I believe psychic ability is the ability to know intuitively things that are not visible with the naked eye. It is perception and knowingness without having been told. Although we all have this ability to one degree or another, it is an ability that has been frowned upon, made a mockery of and been feared and doubted by the majority of the populace.

When I ask myself why this should be, the only feasible answer I can conclude is that we all suffer from the “fear of the unknown”.  Because it cannot be explained it cannot be real, and because we cannot explain it we use humor to alleviate the fear.  It seems to me that as human beings we must have tangible and scientific proof before we choose to believe.

Psychic ability has become an integral part of whom and what I am today and therefore, this article talks about the reflections of my own reality.  I am always amused at the reactions I get when I mention that I am a Clairvoyant.  There are those who want to test my psychic ability by asking what it is they are thinking, there are those who are quite uncomfortable or bemused and change the topic of conversation at the earliest opportunity and there are those who are almost fearful that I may “read their minds” and promptly take their leave.  And last but not least, there are those who are genuinely interested in knowing more about what I do and perhaps even interested in learning to develop their own psychic abilities.

So how can I best describe my psychic ability?  Well to begin with, it is not quite as graphic and gruesome as it is depicted in many Hollywood movies or TV shows.  One does not go around “seeing dead people”, or knowing everything that is going to happen, nor do I know what everyone is thinking every moment of the day. It is a very subtle difference from our ordinary everyday reality of seeing, hearing and feeling.  And it is the ability to get connected to this subtlety which opens the doorway and allows me to tap into my psychic ability of seeing, hearing and feeling on a different plane.

When a seeker gives permission to have a reading performed, I am able to make this subtle connection with the person in question, garnish information and reflect it back to the seeker.  Sometimes the information is conveyed in the form of a symbol which usually acts as a metaphor for the underlying question that the seeker may have asked.  This is sometimes more easily interpreted best by the person in question because it is the reflection of their own personal experience.

I choose to believe in the realism of psychic ability because it is the reflection of my own reality based on my own personal experience.  I honor and respect other people’s choice to believe or not to believe because it is the reflection of their own reality, based on their own personal experience!
