Channeling Energies

As outlined in the Psychic Ability Page, Channeling is the ability to get into an expanded state of consciousness which allows you to communicate with non-physical energies or beings.  And as I stated in "My Story" this ability to channel energies is something that just "switched on" for me after my first Reiki session.

Channeling energies can be a very frightening experience, particularly when you have not had any formal training or guidance to achieve this state of being.  On this page I will share my experiences and how I overcame these fears. Franklin D. Roosevelt wrote: "We have nothing to fear but fear itself".  I never knew the extent of the truth to this statement until I went through the experience of channeling energies/entities.

Initially, I found channeling energies to be very exciting and fun, the ability to communicate with unseen energies/entities is quite profound to say the least.  At that time I had no concept of "good energies" versus "negative energies", I was mostly wonder-struck at the whole experience. However, the more I communicated with these energies/entities the more started to show up.  At one time I was surrounded by 9 energies/entities each with their own agenda they wanted fulfilled.  One wanted a book written about him, yet another one wanted me to go to India and connect with the Dali Llama!  Their demands became all consuming to the point where I truly did feel that I was losing control of my sanity.  It was at this stage that I finally found someone who was able to give me some sound guidance which was greatly needed.

I learned that just as there are good human energies/entities and not so good human energies/entities, the same is true of unseen entities.  I learned the difference between, "channeling negative spirits" versus "channeling angels, guides and ascended masters".

Channeling Angels, Guides or Ascended Masters 

The easiest distinguishing factor between the two is when dealing with "negative energies/entities" or lesser evolved energies, they will say things that will evoke a sense of fear and foreboding at some level.  If you seem to be at beck and call to these energies/entities you will eventually begin to feel their negativity and working with them will become tiring and exhaustive.  I learned that by being grounded in my own body and by being very firm you can ask these energies/entities to leave and they have to comply.  As simple as this sounded I still felt fearful at times and started in earnest to get educated on this subject matter.  Conversely, when channeling Angels, Guides or Ascended Masters, I felt an overwhelming sense of love and joy spread throughout my whole body, it was this sense of love which allowed me to decide on which visions and guidance I wanted to trust and work with.

In some of my earlier visions I remember seeing many different symbols, the most prevalent of which was the Star of David. After doing much research on the Star of David, I found that this symbol dates back before Judaism and is known to be a symbol of power and protection.  I ended up buying this symbol in many different forms; I bought a necklace which I wore constantly; crystals which had the Star of David engraved into them and whenever I felt fearful, I would draw this symbol on all my windows and doors around the house and firmly request all energies and entities not my own to leave.  The sense of "relief" and “feeling safe” was truly measurable.

I am working towards creating partnerships with suppliers who will offer some of the tools and items I myself found particularly helpful and will incorporate them into my site so that visitors to my site can browse and see if there are tools/items which resonate with them and can help to provide the security you may need.

A word of caution, before thinking of investing your money into anything, my advise to you would be to trust your own judgement and see if it feels good and safe to possess the item which you may be attracted to, be it a book, a symbol, Jewelry or crystals. In my experience if there is a sense of attraction to something, and I feel an overpowering sense of owning it, and particularly if it makes me smile involuntarily, then I trust that this tool/item is going to be of service to me in some way. 

I cannot emphasize enough to please make sure it resonates with you, just because something worked for me does not necessarily mean that it is a tool or item which is going to help you in the same way.  Honour your uniqueness, trust that your OWN body and higher self knows best and will guide you to what you need at this moment in time.
